Nada Raad
Artist. Sculptor. Jewelry Visionary.
Born in Lebanon in 1943, Nada Raad is a multidisciplinary artist whose creative journey spans over five decades. Trained in New York’s Institute of Technology and the Art Students League, as well as the American University of Beirut and ALBA – Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts, Nada’s work blends classical craftsmanship with deeply personal narratives.
The Spirit Behind the Craft
Her sculptures, paintings, and jewelry are more than decorative objects; they are intimate vessels of memory, emotion, and cultural heritage. Each piece reflects a dialogue between form and feeling, shaped by Nada’s unique perspective as a woman artist navigating tradition and modernity. Through Concepts – MindMade Jewelry, Nada brings her sculptural vision to wearable art, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that carry stories and silent poetry — designed not just to adorn, but to transform.
Nada’s artistic process is deeply intuitive, where every curve, texture, and material choice is deliberate and meaningful. Drawing inspiration from nature, memory, and the rich tapestry of Lebanese culture, her work invites the wearer to engage in a personal dialogue with each piece. This intimate connection transforms jewelry from mere ornamentation into a lived experience — a constant companion that holds stories and emotions.
At the core of Nada’s philosophy is a commitment to authenticity and craftsmanship. In an age of mass production, her creations stand as rare, tangible expressions of individual artistry. Each item is meticulously hand-forged in Beirut, reflecting not only a mastery of form but a dedication to sustainability, ethical practices, and preserving artisanal heritage for future generations.
